About Civil ID Status Check
Civil ID Status Check is an independent guide to Kuwait civil ID services. It explains, in plain English, how to check your civil ID status, renew or replace your card, pay PACI fees, and handle the everyday paperwork that comes with living in Kuwait.
Who writes this site
Why this site exists
Civil ID questions come up all the time in Kuwait: is my card ready, why does it say no data, how much is the fee, where do I collect it. The official information is spread across different PACI pages, apps and news updates, and a lot of it is in Arabic first. This site puts the answers in one place, in simple language, with the official links you actually need.
How we write and check our guides
- Official sources first. Steps, fees and service names are taken from PACI’s own e-services site (services.paci.gov.kw), Kuwait Government Online (e.gov.kw) and the Meta appointments platform. Where we use news reports, we say so.
- No guessing. If PACI doesn’t publish a fixed number, such as a processing time, we don’t invent one.
- Kept up to date. Guides are reviewed when PACI changes a service, and each article shows when it was last updated.
- Corrections. If you spot something that’s out of date, tell us through the contact page and we’ll check and fix it.
What this site is not
We are not PACI. Civil ID Status Check is not owned, run or endorsed by the Public Authority for Civil Information or any Kuwait government body.
- We can’t see your civil ID status or your PACI records.
- We never ask for, store or send your civil ID number.
- We don’t take payments or process applications.
Official civil ID services are only on services.paci.gov.kw, the Sahel app and Kuwait Mobile ID. The PACI hotline is 1889988.
How the site is funded
The site is free to read and is supported by advertising. Ads don’t decide what we write, and no government body or company pays for content here.
